Rimrock Skating Academy
Rimrock Skating Academy offers the Learn to Skate USA program which is endorsed by U.S. Figure Skating, USA Hockey and U.S. Speedskating. These group lessons are a great place to start developing skills. Ages 4 to adult.
All skaters start in Snowplow Sam , Basic 1 or Hockey 1 classes.
Upon successfully completing Snowplow Sam 4, Basic 1 or Hockey 1, skaters have the option of moving into Hockey LTS classes or continuing in regular LTS classes.
RSA sessions consist of 30 minute group lessons taught by a certified LTS-USA instructor held once a week for 6 weeks. Cost is $90 per session with a once yearly $20 membership to Learn to Skate USA.
Private Lessons
We are lucky to have several highly qualified coaches in Billings, Montana who are available for private and semi-private lessons. All of our coaches are members of U.S. Figure Skating, and their qualifications have been verified by the RFSC Board of Directors.
Club Ice
Figure skating clubs provide a safe, well-structured environment and offer exciting programs and events for members. The best way to be a part of U.S. Figure Skating is to be a member of an affiliated club. Rimrock Figure Skating Club creates a positive atmosphere for skaters to make friends and have fun while learning new skills. Club members have access to 90 minutes of club ice time every week, which includes 60 minutes of group programming.
Open Figure Skating Time
Centennial Ice Arena offers Public Skating and Open Figure Skating sessions. Public Skating is open to all ages and abilities. Open Figure Skating time is recommended for skaters who have passed at least Basic 2 Learn to Skate curriculum and are enrolled in a current RSA class or a member of a figure skating club.
